Notes
- Fun tone in the writing. The story is as absurd as the premise, which is okay. The author still finds quiet moments for Carl's introspection and growth.
- Narrator Jeff Hays has ridiculous range, playing Carl as a stoic homage to Patrick Warburton and Princess Donut exactly how you would imagine a sassy show-cat sounds in your head.
- Like a lot of LitRPG stuff, the exposition can get a bit technical, which bogs things down a little. The author works around this by characterizing the game system as a snark AI.
