I've always liked to make things. I grew up in semi-rural Oklahoma where I spent a fair bit of time alone as a kid. That meant countless hours drawing, playing with action figures, going on adventures with a wooden sword on my hip, or raiding my grandpa's tool shed for scraps of wood and spare screws to cobble together a lightsaber or build a ladder on a tree because I was really bad at climbing them. I broke a lot of things when I tinkered, which meant I had to figure out how to fix what I broke.
