  • Carl and Donut continue to be a fun duo, and Jeff Hays continues to deliver performances that are both funny and endearing.
  • In many ways Carl is very much designed as an action hero archetype, but he approaches problems in this book with emotional intelligence that breaks with what you would expect in either a video game or movie.
  • Loved how he handled Grimaldi's Circus.
