Notes
-
While not a fantasy, the book features beautifully written monologues in the voice of the Bog that give this story a slight flavor of magical realism. Both indifferent and alien to the human experience, they serve as a reminder that no matter what happens, the Earth will endure long after we are gone.

This book takes its time, and lives in the skin of its characters. Not a quick read, but engaging, nonetheless.
